VALIDATE FOR GOOD WORKS

Ghana Philanthropy Forum’s (GPF) validation and due diligent program accord non profit organisations an opportunity to align with national and international best practices in their operations. The program is a fair assessment of NGOs' credentials, capacity & track record. An integral component of this initiative is the strengthening of the NGO’s overall organizational and programmatic practices through capacity building interventions made available to them.

REQUIREMENT
Entities seeking to be validated are expected to have the following. GPF provides guidance to entities, especially small and medium size NGOs who may need some assistance in this regards.

  1. Register with the Registrar of Companies
  2. NPO License
  3. Financial and control mechanisms/procedures in place
  4. Anti-Money Laundering Policy
  5. Proof of Banking Details
  6. Board of Directors
  7. Audited Financials/
  8. Transparency and Accountability
  9. Community Engagement
  10. Impact & Sustainability
