The Ghana Philanthropy Forum (GPF) was born out of a vision to galvanize philanthropic efforts for sustainable community development in Ghana and beyond. Over the years GPF has embarked on a mission to harness the power of collective action and philanthropy to address societal challenges.
GPF’s partnership with the African Philanthropy Network, the Worldwide Initiative for Grant Maker Support (WINGS), Charities Aid Foundation (CAF-Global) among others has enabled us to expand our reach, deepen our impact, and leverage global best practices in philanthropy. Together, we’ve worked towards building resilient communities and promoting a culture of giving that transcends borders.
Over the years, GPF has evolved from a budding organization into a beacon of hope and change, establishing over 15 Community Foundations in Ghana and managing a diverse network of Civil Society Actors (CSAs). Our journey is a testament to the power of collective effort and strategic partnerships in driving societal transformation.
Our strategic position and focus has enables us draw credible partners in implementing national programs that widely address social marginalization, power imbalance by empowering women and youth, giving voice to minorities, Supporting Resilience and Stability, Building Trust in Societies and bolstering local action.
As we continue our journey, our dedication to promoting participatory development, effective resource mobilization, and advocating for good governance remains unwavering.
At GPF, we are not just fostering philanthropy; we are nurturing the foundations for a brighter, more equitable future for all.
